Christmas Day!!

Christmas was a bonny wet day for a bonny wee skirt. It dripped and splashed and laughed and played. Such a refreshing change to the usual summer weather!

And we were woken by Santa at 4:30am (accidentally, of course :P) and cooked and feasted and hung with friends and dozed off our aching stomachs and played Monopoly (finish? of course not) and Blokus.

It was a great day.

Saturday 5th Dec:

A big catch-up/conference today. Many many many people I know, many brief conversations, some fun hanging out, and a massive feast and concert that went on into the night...

Skirt managed to stay fairly clean this time!

Six Days as a Strathalbian

Friday 27th:

Wandered around sunny Strathalbyn. It is so beautiful - you will have to visit sometime if you haven't already. Will add some photos later if I get a chance..

Visited friends, met a new pet kitten :), had coffee at Jack's cafe, hung in the Shed, got to go along to a b'day dinner.

Sunday 29th:

More catching up with friends, visited a church to hear another friend speak, fell in love with a rescued bird (which pooed on the skirt!!). It sat on my shoulder most of the afternoon, flying onto other people's heads at intervals when it got restless. It also had a swim in a little tub of water.
Went climbing up my sunset tower (not a very exciting sunset, but a good view nonetheless!)
